OOTD: A sunny day in January

I'm back again with another outfit from last week when it stopped raining/snowing/hailing and the sun came out. I was able to go outside without wearing four layers of clothing. Today however I was caught out in a hail storm on my way back from school and I had to shelter behind my schoolbag in the middle of the road. It was a funny sight. I was also wearing nylon tights and now have hundreds of little red dots on my legs. Most of January has been like this. It's not even that cold, it's just constantly miserable.
Most people say that talking about the weather is only used when you have nothing else to say but it seems like in Ireland we are constantly talking about it. It's either cold and wet and everyone's complaining or warm and wet and everyone's complaining. I like the way it's so unpredictable sometimes, it makes life that little bit more exciting than it was before. The sound of a howling storm outside and the tip-tapping of the rain rocks me to sleep at night. Still, I do love a bit of sunshine.

I wear this kind of outfit most days when I don't have school. It's so comfy and warm. I love wearing slouchy jumpers and cardigans like this one, which I found in Forever 21 the other day. It was €20 I believe, also I like the way it is red with blue bits of thread.

My dogs saw a bird and got excited. They love being in the camera.

The necklace is an old pocket watch on a chain, the watch doesn't work anymore but I like wearing it. The shorts are from Zara and the top is a simple top from Penneys.

Cardigan - Forever 21
Shorts - Zara
Top - Penneys
Socks - Penneys
Shoes - Schuh
Necklace - (Old)

I wish I got more shots of the outfit, especially some close-ups but unfortunately I stupidly forgot to charge it and it ran out of power. The shoes are my wonderful Rocket Dog shoes from Schuh which are my school shoes but I wear them all the time anyway. Black socks over tights have a lovely look.

I hope you enjoyed my post and have a lovely evening! I shall be drifting off to the sound of rain hammering against my window!

Beauty favourites of 2014 + Current favourites

I haven't done a beauty post in a while so here are a few things that I have loved in 2014/things I love right now.

The Urban Decay Naked 3 palette is one on my all time favourites. The packaging alone is utterly beautiful and the eyeshadows are all stunning. You can do so much with them from everyday nude pinks to dark purple smokey eyes. Pinks and browns are really versatile and can be worn with pretty much every outfit in any season. My most used shades are Dust, Burnout, Buzz and Liar.

The next one is something that I only bought later on in the year, back in November. Rimmel Kate Moss lipsticks are so raved about and I had been desperately wanting 107 for ages. It's the perfect Autumn/Winter berry red shade. It's also matte which is great for winter makeup looks.

I first tried the Maybelline Colossal Volum' express mascara in the December Glossybox 2013 and have loved it ever since. I prefer it over the much raved about Maybelline Falsies as it has less clumps. I wear it as an everyday mascara but can be built up to make it more dramatic.

Next is the Maybelline Master Kajal Khol Liner. I got this a whole ago in the February Glossybox but didn't use it until about a month ago. This looks really nice with darker smokey eyes or even on its own instead of winged eyeliner.

Another eyeliner I love is The Body Shop's Smokey 2 in 1 Gel Liner. I do not use this on my almost blonde eyebrows as that would be horrific but it's a great eyeliner. It's not quite black which I quite like for a less dramatic everyday winged eyeliner. It's also quite long lasting and the brush isn't too bad.

Next is the Garnier Micellar water cleanser. I'd never tried a micellar water before this but heard great reviews about it. It's really quick at taking of makeup and works well with my skin.

I have loved so many nail polishes this year so wasn't sure which to include here. One of my top favourites has been Tanya Burr's Little Duck. Its such a lovely mint blue green colour and it goes on so well. It also stays for a long time.

Last of all is something I am loving right now. It's the Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Perfume which I got for Christmas. It's such a lovely scent. Not too sweet yet still light. Also that bottle is the cutest thing I have every seen.

What have you loved in 2014?
Lots of Love,

OOTD: 2015 Bucket List

Hello! It's been a long time since I was last on here. I quite enjoyed the break actually but I'm really looking forward to getting back into blogging again. I've got a little outfit of the day post from a walk I took the other day and I also want to make a bucket list for 2014.

1. The main thing I want to do this year is blog more. Nearly a month without blogging has really made me want to get into the swing of it again. At the same time I don't want it to become a chore because I do it for fun and I enjoy doing it, that's all.

This outfit is my typical walking attire due to the constant mud, cows and climbing over fences. Wellies being the most important part.

2. Number two on my list is learning to drive.  I've had my theory test CD on my desk for over a month but still haven't looked at it yet. I keep putting it all off. I am determined to learn this year before I start my big exams and before I go to college.

3. YouTube. I tried...and failed before to start a YouTube channel. I posted 1 video which was pretty awful. I want to make some creative videos and have some ideas in mind, just need to get going with them.

4. Learn new things. Is it strange that I really enjoy learning strange little facts that will never come in handy unless a general knowledge quiz becomes a matter of life and death. Right now I am learning all the countries + capitals of the world for no apparent reason just for the sake of being able to say that I know the capital of Venezuela (which is Caracas by the way).

  Crystal says hi!

 5. Visit more countries. So far my only plans are to go to England about three times which is nothing new. I just really want to travel more.

6. Get a job. This has been on my to-do list for a long long time. The problem is that I just cannot talk to people. I can barely talk to people I know let alone a scary manager of a shop.

7. Next on my list is being a better communicator. When I am around anyone that's not in my close group of friends I become this little mouse that doesn't speak and when I do it's something stupid. I know it's not easy but I want to try being less anxious about talking in classes and school. Apparently my patronus is a mouse which does seem very fitting.

Jumper - Penneys/Primark
Necklace - Penneys/Primark
Skirt - Unknown (I've had it since I was about 12)
Top - Penneys/Primark
Wellies - Evercreatures

8. Paint and draw more! The one thing that I can actually can do reasonably okay is drawing but I never have time/energy to do so.

9. Read more books. The main reason why technology is bad is my lack of reading lately. When I was younger I used to read all the time but in the last year or so I have been spending a lot more time on my computer/phone than off. I have a pile of books lined up already.

I found this skirt in my wardrobe that I haven't worn in ages and it's actually really nice.

10. And finally I want to be more productive. Get my homework done on time and study more. Seems pretty straight forward doesn't it? Easier said than done. I also want to take more walks and be more active as I am totally unfit.

Hope you enjoyed my post! I also might add to this post if I've forgotten anything. I can't wait to see what I actually do get done. What are you New Year resolutions/bucket list?
