Ootd: Drop waist dress & Red shoes

While browsing the Topshop sales in Dublin in July I came across this dress in my size for €12. I have never owned anything drop waisted before but I really like that style, a little bit 20s yet short and simple. I paired it with my red doll/geek shoes from Penneys and frilly socks and a long necklace.

It's getting colder now so I would probably add tights too. It seems like Summer has come to an end and Autumn is arriving. I don't know how to feel about this because I love the warmth of summer yet I do love being cosy in winter and wearing many layers and scarves and boots. Autumn also means school has started again (cry). I would love to do cute back to school outfits and such but alas we have a uniform. I can't promise anything when it comes to blog posts because it depends on my time, for now I will stick to my schedule of three posts a week.

Harry Potter Studio Tour London

If you aren't a fan of Harry Potter then this post isn't for you. If you are then you have come to the right place!
Last Friday, on my last day in the UK, I went to the Warner Brothers Harry Potter Studios near London. I am a serious Harry Potter fan, I have read all the books about 5 times and seen the films countless. I grew up with it and to be able to go to the place where the magic of the films happened was just amazing! I also think I am a lot like Colin Creevey as I took about 400 photos, here are about 60 of them to enjoy!

My ticket had Dobby on the front!

They had the actors' hand prints and I have the same sized hands as Emma Watson, such an achievement!

Harry's bedroom!

The great hall!

The actual costumes!

The actual wigs!

Luna's clothes!

Ron and Harry's beds!

Wands!

Mirror of Erised.

Gryffindor Commonroom!

Props!

 Hagrid's hut!

Death Eater masks.

There is so much detail in everything it's incredible!

Butterbeer! It tastes so good yet really strange, like fizzy caramel.

Night bus.

Harry's house!

Chess pieces.

Goblins.

Voldemort!

Dobby! I practically cried when I saw this.

Buckbeak (It actually moves and everything)!

Diagon Alley!

Models and concept art.

It's Hogwarts! This was actually breathtaking! The amount of detail and time went into this was amazing!

Hogwarts T-shirt in front of Hogwarts (I bought it in New Look a few weeks ago and had to wear it).

Wand boxes with names of people involved in the films on each box.

Gift Shop (Which was really expensive so wasn't able to buy everything).

But I did buy a wand! This is Ginny Weasley's wand, I chose this one because I love the design and it's so elegant!

It was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend this to other Harry Potter fans. It made me really want to rewatch the films, and I learned so much! There is so much detail in everything, every prop, every costume, every set. Tempted to become and set and prop designer now!
