February Glossybox 2014

For Christmas I got a 3 month subscription to Glossybox. This is my third and final month of the subscription but definitely my favourite!

This is the Glossybox Valentine's Day special and it's just so pretty! One of my favourite things about Glossybox is the boxes!
When I opened it, the first thing I saw was the big Lindt Lindor bar.

I tried to refrain from eating it until after this post but it didn't really work very well. This was a lovely little bonus to find!

The next item is Nougat London Sparkling Body Shimmer. I've never used body shimmer of any type before but I might try it for the summer.

Next is a set of shampoo and conditioner by H2K Skincare. I haven't used them yet although I might use them the next time I go away as they are travel sized.

Next is a Maybelline Product. It's the Master Kajal khol liner in black. I have found it really easy to put on although it smudges easily and didn't last the day. Not my favourite product of the box.

I was really happy when I saw this. I don't own any lip crayons although I have been after the Borjoux lip crayons for a while. I also tend to wear either bright orange-reds or peach lips and I was to try a bright pink to go out of comfort zone a little.

And last but not least is a back-combing brush by Sleep-In Rollers. I tend to just use a normal brush or comb to give my hair volume because I don't have a backcombing brush but I'm excited to try this. It's also wood which is much nicer than a terrible plastic one you might get in Penneys.

Hope you enjoyed reading this!

Spring/Summer Fashion Wishlist 2014

Oooo I'm on a roll!
I can't wait for the warm(ish) weather to arrive and I can wear summery clothes again!
I made a simple wishlist of fashion items I want this year ( I had to cut it down a bit).

Black Strappy Wedges - New Look, €24.99
I am a (very) small person but I have weird arched feet so I can't wear a lot of heels. I really want a pair of wedged sandals that give you height without the pain. New Look are good for shoes and I spotted these a little while ago. They are just perfect!

River Island Midi Skirt - ASOS, €39.33
I love 50s fashion and long skirts. Maxi skirts make me look smaller than I am. I also love the spring colour of this skirt.

Acid Wash Denim Playsuit - New Look, €29.99
I wear shorts all the time no matter what season (with tights) and jumpsuits are so pretty c: I buy a lot of my clothes from New Look because its not too expensive and I really love their clothes.

Knitted Curve Hem Crop Jumper -Topshop, £36/€45
I don't live in the Mediterranean so jumpers are still very important in the Summer. Baby blue ones just make it more summery. I have been eying  up this jumper every time I go into Topshop. I need to save up because it's gorgeous!

Black Lace up Boots - New look, £29.99/€39.99
Not really very Spring/Summer I know but black chunky boots go with almost every outfit and they are more practical than flip-flops.

Thanks for reading

Naked Basics - First impressions

I made a sneaky duty-free purchase on the plane and bought the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette. I've been wanting one of the Naked palettes for ages but at the moment this is all I can afford.
It was €21 duty free but it's normally €26.

My very first impression was "oh my god this is tiny". The box is a bit deceiving.
I have a lot of shimmery eye shadows and I love all the matte shades. My favourites are Naked 2 and Venus. It has so much potential for different looks, but I really want to try a winged eyeliner and red lip look with it.

I want to do a review on it once I've used it a bit with different looks.

Mid-term outfits #1

I'm back! No big long explanation, I just didn't update.
I thought I'd do a little outfit post from when I was in England last week for mid-term.

Jumper ~ New Look (no longer available but was around €17)
Dress ~ Primark/Penneys (£5/€7)
Socks ~ Primark/Penneys (€3 for 3)
Shoes ~ Converse (Car boot sale €5)
Necklace ~ One of my mini company Teanga na mBláth necklaces.

I got the skater dress in Primark when I was in London and I put together an outfit for it with the stuff I had with me.
I did some more outfits which I will post tomorrow.
